CNC Operator (Williamsburg, VA in Norfolk, MA

PRIMARY DUTIES Set up and operate CNC multitasking machining centers, CNC multitasking lathes, CNC lathes drill press, and or various secondary equipment. May be required to operate multiple machines simultaneously. Work with a wide variety of materials such as stainless steels, duplex stainless steels, Monels, Hastelloys and other nickel alloys, cast iron, carbon steel, bronze, etc. Program edits to G-code CNC programs. Follow preventative maintenance procedures on equipment. Assist CNC Operators with setup and troubleshooting as required. Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement including productivity, quality, safety, environmental and ergonomics. Perform other duties as required. Min Education RequirementsKnowledge equivalent to school education, expertise to read and interpret component prints or drawings, make average to complicated arithmetic calculations, and resolve elementary technical problems.Background Qualifications Min of 5yrs of prior work background on CNC equipment doing comparable work.Background in operatingHaas machine is an advantage.If you have the background to fill this position please call for information [removed phone].
